Food styling for McDonald’s UAE’s World Menu Heist, a limited-edition campaign bringing together menu items inspired by McDonald’s around the world.

I was commissioned to food style five of the seven products featured in the UAE campaign, working alongside photographer Toby Davies and the production team at Concept View Media. The full shoot was completed in a single studio day, creating individual hero images for each product as well as a group composition for use across the wider campaign.

Two of the campaign images — the Hot Honey McCrispy and Sakura Sprite — came from existing international campaign assets. This meant the locally shot food needed to sit seamlessly alongside the global imagery, from the scale and positioning of each product to the overall finish and visual consistency.

My role was to prepare and style each product specifically for camera, working closely with Toby throughout the shoot to make sure every element translated perfectly within the established campaign look. As with any large-scale fast-food campaign, the smallest details matter — from the placement and visibility of ingredients to the shape, height and structure of the finished products.

The final imagery was rolled out across outdoor advertising, digital screens, social media and in-store communications throughout Dubai and the wider UAE.
